A 26-year old Cape May County man is facing a variety of charges after police say they had to revive him from an apparent drug overdose after a chain reaction crash. Authorities say Jeffery Aviles of Villas was in a 2000 Chevy Silverado on South Railroad Avenue near Route 47 in Rio Grande shortly before 1 p.m. Wednesday, according to a release from the Middle Township Police Department. His truck was facing northbound and not moving, with other drivers going around him, when his foot hit the accelerator pedal, causing the truck to rear end another vehicle, police said.
